Product Description
Mycorhiza is an endophytic symbiotic association between all plant roots and soil fungus Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza. VAM is an obligate symbiont. VAM fungus extend their hyphae into the plant root system, helping it to absorb the soil nutrients. It is used as bio-fertilizer.
Benefits of VAM:
– Increases NPK uptake. Mobilizes phosphate and micro nutrients in the soil
– Enhances tolerance to soil stress like heavy metal toxicity, high salt levels, drought, high temperatures etc.
Recommended: for all crops.
Dosage & Application: Take 5kg of VAM mix with 200-400kg of FYM / Vermi compost then broad cast over one acre in the root zone (i.e. in sowing rows). Irrigate field to maintain sufficient moisture for VAM™s spore germination.
Nursery application: 1 kg of VAM is sufficient for one sq. m bed. Mix 10kg of VAM with 1000 kg of potting mixture and inoculation in the existing trees.
